Guest appearance rules
& likeness permission
Updated September 13, 2026. Agreement is required before proceeding to paid guest checkout. Email subscribers are automatically included in free guest spot drawings while subscribed.
1. Adults only. Yourself only.
You must be at least 18 years old and participate for yourself. You cannot submit another person’s name, image, or likeness, including a friend, family member, celebrity, or minor. Fictional characters and personal avatars—including your own avatar or original character—are not accepted. Your guest character must be based on your real appearance. Cardboardnaut LLC may decline submissions that do not meet these requirements.
2. Your reference materials
Any reference photo must show you. You confirm that you own the photograph or have the photographer’s or copyright owner’s permission for the uses described here. Being the person in a photo does not necessarily mean you own its copyright. Do not submit material that infringes someone else’s rights.
3. Permission to use your likeness
By affirmatively accepting these terms and providing your reference materials, you authorize Cardboardnaut LLC, the owner of Pixel Beef, and production providers acting on its behalf to use those materials to create, edit, animate, and adapt a pixelated character based on your likeness.
You grant a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to include that character and your likeness in Pixel Beef videos, clips, stills, thumbnails, and related promotion across websites and social platforms. This includes monetized videos. Finished content made under this permission may remain published and be shared again indefinitely. No additional royalty or appearance fee is owed to you unless separately agreed in writing.
4. A fictional comedy appearance
Pixel Beef is fictional, stylized comedy. Characters may be exaggerated and placed in humorous situations. The appearance is not a factual account of your life or conduct. Cardboardnaut LLC retains creative control over the character’s visual treatment, story, editing, and publication, subject to any specific package commitments agreed before booking.
5. Ownership
You retain your rights in your identity and in materials you own. This permission is not a transfer of your identity or photo ownership. Cardboardnaut LLC owns the original artwork and animation it creates, subject to rights in any underlying materials.
6. Free drawing and paid appearances
The free drawing and paid appearances are separate options. Subscribing to the Pixel Beef email list automatically places you in the entry pool for free guest spot drawings held while you remain subscribed; there is no separate entry form. No purchase is necessary, and purchasing a paid appearance does not improve your odds. Selection or an appearance is not guaranteed. Drawing dates, eligibility, the number of selections, and selection procedures will be announced before each drawing.
A paid booking guarantees the guest appearance purchased. See the guest spot page and Stripe checkout for the selected option, price, and included deliverables. 7. Contact and changes of mind
Contact pixelbeefshorts@gmail.com with questions or concerns before submitting your likeness. If you change your mind, contact us before production begins. Removal of already published material or copies shared by others cannot be guaranteed.
8. Email preferences
Email subscription is the method of entry for free guest spot drawings. Unsubscribing removes you from future drawings but does not, by itself, undo permission already granted for appearance content after selection and acceptance.
