Cardboardnaut LLC operates Pixel Beef and pixelbeef.com. This notice explains how we handle information when you visit this website, subscribe to our emails, or contact us.
Information we collect
When you subscribe and enter the free guest spot drawing pool, we collect your email address, your name if you provide it, and your agreement to receive emails. Our signup service sends the signup time and, when available, your IP address to MailerLite with your subscription.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages, and request times to deliver and protect the website. The signup service also temporarily uses IP addresses to limit repeated requests.
How we use your information
We use subscription information to enter active subscribers in free guest spot drawings, contact people selected, and send the Pixel Beef emails requested, including guest spot news, exclusive merch updates, and email-only content. We use contact information to answer inquiries and discuss sponsorships, and technical information to operate the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
We rely on your consent for newsletter emails. Where applicable, we rely on our legitimate interests to operate a secure website and respond to inquiries, and on legal obligations where records must be retained.
MailerLite and other service providers
MailerLite stores and manages our newsletter subscribers and delivers our emails. Depending on email settings and your email app, email activity such as delivery, opens, and link clicks may be recorded to help us understand newsletter performance. Read MailerLite’s privacy policy.
We also use website hosting, infrastructure, and email providers to run Pixel Beef and respond to messages. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate. We do not sell our newsletter subscriber list. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.
Embedded video, fonts, and external links
The site embeds YouTube through youtube-nocookie.com and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to load this content, which can disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies according to their settings and your interactions. See Google’s privacy policy. Browser settings can limit cookies and external content, although some features may not work.
The guest page loads Stripe checkout after you confirm the participation requirements. The guest checkout also loads PayPal when a PayPal-enabled option is selected. Stripe and PayPal may process technical information to load checkout and prevent fraud; see Stripe’s privacy policy and PayPal’s privacy statement. Social links and tip buttons take you to other services, including Ko-fi and PayPal. Their privacy policies apply when you use them. We do not collect card details through this website; payment providers handle transactions on their own sites and may share transaction information with us.
Your choices and retention
You can unsubscribe using the link in our marketing emails or by contacting us below. We retain subscriber information while needed to provide the newsletter. Limited unsubscribe, consent, and security records may remain as needed to respect your preferences, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Inquiry records are kept as needed to handle the conversation and related business obligations.
Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to portability, restriction, objection, or a complaint to your local privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.
Guest appearances and children
Newsletter signup automatically enters active subscribers in free guest spot drawings. It is not a paid booking or permission to use your likeness. Paid guest bookings use Stripe or PayPal checkout. We receive order and customer contact information to fulfill your booking and coordinate reference materials by email. No on-site photo uploads are open. If selected, you will receive separate instructions and likeness terms before submitting reference materials.
Guest appearances are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect newsletter information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it.
